About the event
Join us for our next cooking class!
After YEARS of requests for this type of experience, we are thrilled to now offer a monthly cooking class to our ever-growing list of events! These monthly classes are held in our North Park location. They provide a fantastic way to learn how to prepare two different appetizers, each paired with a different wine. You’ll have the opportunity to help prepare each appetizer, or you can just observe Chef Erin. Your level of involvement is entirely up to you, no pressure! During the first 45 minutes you’ll have a 5 oz glass of wine to enjoy while preparing the ingredients for two appetizers. During this time, we’ll also discuss the paring aspect of the different ingredients with each wine. For the second half of the class, we’ll focus on plating technique and enjoying our creations alongside the two paired wines. This unique and dynamic environment will allow for some imparting of knowledge, but also just a chance for wine and food lovers to converse about the many facets of wine, food and the culture of both. For our August Cooking Class, we’ll feature two versatile, Mediterranean appetizers, perfect for those hot summer nights. Both can be made ahead of time, so you can spend more time with your guests. Each attendee will have their own appetizers to enjoy. At the end of the class, you’ll take home printed recipes and have the opportunity to purchase the wines presented. These events are a great way to enjoy a light lunch experience. You do have the option during check out to add on a cheeseboard and/or bottle of bubbles to make the event a bit more substantial way to enjoy your afternoon.
* Please note, this event will take place on the second floor in an event space. A flight of exterior, low-rise stairs is the only way to access this event area.

Though we cannot guarantee special requests for menu changes, please contact us (email/phone above) if you have any allergies or special considerations and we'll do our best to accommodate! Please understand that this is pop-up experience, it is not a restaurant. Menu changes should be requested at least 48 hours prior to an event. Please DO NOT buy tickets with the assumption that any special request will be met, please check with us first. Please note that if you purchase tickets before inquiring about your modification, and it cannot be accommodated, the below cancellation policy still applies.
There is a 48-hour full-refund policy. We apologize that cancellations within 48 hours of the event cannot be refunded.
Lastly, please note that your total cost for the event includes two processing fees that are collected by third parties and do not transfer to Wine Pairs Events. Instead of passing on these additional fees to customers, we have decided to absorb them. This however means that when a customer cancels a reservation, at any point, 6% of the ticket total is non-refundable, as these processors do not issue refunds for any reason.
About This Venue:
This event space (HardiHood) is located in North Park, on 30th Street, above James Coffee. PLEASE NOTE, to access this space you must go up a flight of stairs, to the second level. This building does not have an elevator. Seating is indoors, however there is ample spacing between seats. Seating is comprised of 2-8 top seating. Group seating of up to 12 people is easily accommodated, with advanced notice. Typically these events are set up as a single, but large group table. If you would prefer to sit by yourself (or only with your party) please let us know in advance. All seats are standard table height, except 4 bar-height window seats. All chairs have backs and are comfortable. Parking can be a challenge in this area. Ride share services or taxis are always recommended. Please be sure to note any special requests or seating requirements during your registration. If you arrive early, there will be a by the glass wine list available to purchase from.

For Cooking Class events, base price includes sales tax (not gratuity).
Add On: Bottle of Champagne
Arrive early and enjoy a 750ml bottle of chilled sparkling wine before the dinner starts. Please contact us regarding the current offering. Champagne/Sparkling is only available by the bottle (750ml) and MUST be ordered no later than 12pm the day of the event. Your bottle will be chilled prior to the dinner and will come with dedicated glasses (1 per seat in your reservation).
Add On: Cheese + Charcuterie
Add on a cheese + charcuterie board, great for 2 people to share. This item MUST be ordered at the time of purchasing tickets. Your board will be provided at the start the event and will include crackers. Please let us know in ADVANCE if you have any allergies.
