About the event

An intimate wine dinner featuring 3 fan-favorite wines from some our most successful dinners of the past few months!

We're very excited to announce an all-new venue for our pop-up wine dinners in North Park. Our previous location (where we had only able to hold a few dinners) was sold at the end of March. After trying out a couple of different options, we're happy to announce this upstairs space, in the heart of North Park is the perfect fit!

For our second dinner at this new location, we're very excited to announce the return of 3-course wine dinners. I started this endeavor back in January 2018 as a way to offer wine dinners at a lower price point. At the start of covid, the location where I used to hold these events permanently closed. That location was the only one which had a nightly rental rate conducive to lower cost/shorter format dinners. Now that I have re-built venue locations, I have a couple of venues that make this program once again feasible. In our current world of ever-increasing costs, I'm so happy to be able to offer this concept once again. Once a month I will offer an abbreviated, 3-course dinner at either HardiHood in North Park or Drift Cafe in Pacific Beach. This equates to a full meal (appetizer, two light entrees and complimentary dessert) along with 3 paired wines, still 3oz pours of each. It is the same great concept of wine pairing with discussions on both the wine and food. For our first installment we'll be featuring some of our favorite wines from past dinners, three different wineries and 3 different wine regions. You won't want to miss this fantastic evening of wine, food and conversation.

* Please note, this dinner will take place on the second floor in event space. A flight of exterior, low-rise stairs is the only way to access this event area.

Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of wine, food and educational insights! Seating is limited. Please see below for additional dinner details and a registration link.
