We are very excited to announce our next wine dinner at our NEWEST location, Nutmeg Cafe in Sabre Springs (Poway)! For our June Winemaker Dinner Series we're thrilled to share a fantastic line up of wines from boutique, Paso Robles based winery, Cairjn. We have a fantastic line-up of ultra-small production, elegant wines planned, each which will be presented by owner/winemaker, Andy Neja. Cairjn is pronounced like “karn.” Derived from the word, "cairn" which means "a heap of stones piled up as a memorial or as a landmark." Founder, Andy Neja, chose this name as a tribute to his family's farming legacy and as a nod to the limestone-rich terrain of West Paso, where the vineyards are located. Conclude your evening with a dessert wine! We're currently offering Hawk and Horse Late Harvest Cabernet Franc (93pts Enthusiast). Dessert wine is only available by the glass (3oz) and MUST be ordered no later than 2pm the day of the event. Your glass(es) will be served at the end of the dinner with dessert. Please allow yourself some extra time to enjoy your additional wine.
