About the event
Don't miss an exciting evening featuring fantastic, summer-ready wines!
We are very excited to announce our next dinner at our Shelter Island location, The Wine Pub! For our May offering we'll be presenting an eclectic selection of wines with Summer in mind! We'll focus on white wines and lighter reds, perfect for the warmer months ahead. For this Memorial Weekend dinner, Chef Erin will also be the presenter for these lovely wines. We'll be pouring some crowd favorites from previous dinners, such as the Carbonic Grenache from Tooth and Nail, but mostly new selections. To showcase each selection, Chef Erin has created an elevated, seasonal pairing menu. You won't want to miss this fantastic evening of wine, food and conversation!
This dinner will be held outside, if weather permits.
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course. Expect a fabulous evening of wine, food and educational insights! Seating is limited. Please see below for additional dinner details and a registration link.
